Moving to workplace.com
Workplace has rapidly grown into a prominent collaboration platform used by companies around the globe. One of the top requests from our customers is to make it more clear that Workplace accounts are completely separate from Facebook accounts.
In moving to workplace.com, we not only clarify that we are a separate product, but also identify as a unique platform of the Facebook family like Instagram, Oculus and WhatsApp.
Premium communities can now move to the workplace.com domain from facebook.com. If you are on Workplace Standard, your community will be automatically moved to workplace.com on May 8th.
Where can I learn more?
We have put together resources to help your organization prepare for the move to the Workplace domain.
Managing data access for integrations on Workplace
Workplace Premium communities are in control of their data. They can also see which third parties have access to it. Using the Integrations page on the Admin Panel makes it easy to track the level of access for integrations enabled on Workplace.

To make sure that your integrations only have access to the necessary permissions to work properly and deliver value, we've launched regular pruning of permissions for custom integrations through the Admin Panel.
How does it work?
For a custom integration access token, Workplace will revoke data access permissions that haven't been used in the last 30 days and notify admins the action has taken place.
The Admin Panel Integrations tab will also indicate when the permissions for a custom integration have been changed as a result of this process.
