This month, we’re excited to share a slew of new updates to a wide range of Workplace features. Read on to learn about Knowledge Library subcategory viewing access, personalized email invites, custom colors for Knowledge Library and much more.
Make Workplace email invitations your own

With Inviter Recognition, admins can now make email invitations more trustworthy by sending them from a named person (like a CEO or a line manager) in their organization.
Admins can also use the Invite Content Manager to create and manage custom templates for email invites to Workplace. They can then use distinct templates for different cohorts of employees.
Customize the colors of your Knowledge Library

Customize the colors of your Knowledge Library

Brand colors enable employees to easily recognize Knowledge Library as a trusted source of company official information. Admins can now add custom colors for their desired categories and collections by selecting their color by hex code or using the color picker. Saved custom colors will be available for other admins in their organization to save time and drive brand consistency.
Access files and media from the same place in Workplace Groups

The files and media tabs, which worked in a very similar way, have been merged under one tab called 'Files and media'. This means you can now access files, photos and other media from a single place.
Translate Knowledge Library content automatically

Translate Knowledge Library content automatically

We are introducing automatic translations of content in Knowledge Library categories. Previously, in order to attach a translation, editors needed to add the translated version manually. With automatic translations, we translate the content into the selected language in real time, while allowing changes to be made afterwards. This feature is available only on the desktop web version of Workplace.
Focus on the relevant content when selecting notifications

Focus on the relevant content when selecting notifications

Previously, when people selected a notification using their keyboard, the related content was loaded in the feed and scrolled into view but the main item was not in focus. Now, when the user selects a notification, the focus moves directly to the post or comment that the notification relates to, improving the accessibility of notifications and providing a better experience for people who use their keyboard. This feature is available only on the desktop web version of Workplace.
Invite people to view Knowledge Library subcategories

We've heard your feedback and are excited to share a new update to Knowledge Library that gives admins greater control over who can view and comment on subcategory content. Admins can now invite people to subcategories without making the whole category visible to them. They can give access to the whole Workplace, selected groups, or specific people.
Extract all tickets from Contact Support

Extract all tickets from Contact Support

We're improving the admin experience for organizations who have any admins who submit and manage Workplace Support tickets. Admins with access to the Contact Support section can now export all tickets from there. This can help them manipulate data, sort the tickets in different ways, identify admins who actively create support tickets and spot patterns in the bugs reported.
New notification when support ticket is updated

New notification when support ticket is updated

To help admins stay on top of any updates to their support tickets, we have added an icon in the Contact Support section of the Admin Panel. The notification includes the ticket ID, the ticket title and status. Admins will also receive these updates in their main notifications section.
Access the content integration login settings from the user settings

Access the content integration login settings from the user settings

Until now, the integrations settings page contained settings for both chat bots and content integrations (e.g: Google Drive, Dropbox, Quip, etc), which led to confusion and poor discoverability of content integrations. We are moving the content integration login settings inside the user settings to allow people to access these more easily.
