Workplace customers have a free 30-day free trial period. Once that free trial period ends, the billing cycle begins on the first day of the next calendar month. At the end of that month, the bill will be generated based the number of active users for that month. The days that fall between the end of the free trial period and the first day of the next month won't be charged.
For example: if your free trial period ends on October 18, October 19 through October 31 won't be charged. The billing cycle starts on November 1.

Any accounts that are created or ended within that calendar month are not billable.
Note: Any account that is created after the 1st will not be billed until they have been active for an entire calendar month.

Billing calculations will usually be less than what you see in the Reporting tab of your Admin Panel. A monthly active user for billing purposes is someone who had a Workplace account on the first day of the month and who logged in to visit their Workplace community, the Admin Panel or Work Chat during that month. (A push notification you get on mobile or by email doesn't count.)
